Stop >>>> showing when you forward a Message
IN hotmail you can deceide wether to show >> when you forward a message.
The only way you can stop this in Yahoo is to send as an attachment. I don't like this method because you can not highlight and delete where the email has come from. I use inline text , but then I get > in front of each forwarded text line. I have checked help on yahoo and found nothing. |

I could be mistaken, but I believe that may be exactly why Al Gore invented copy & paste around the same time he invented the Internet.

It's an option in 'new' Yahoo mail. Go to Options - Mail Options - General, and uncheck: When replying & forwarding: Mark original message with > (plain text only).

Thank you
ZHAK
Many thanks for your help. I went to NEW yahoo and made sure it was not checked off to insert a > in forward emails in plain text. It carried over when I went back to using the classic which I prefer.. less stuff all over the place. ..More basic email screen. |
