Downgrading and username length

I have Ad Free and a 5 letter userid. If I don't renew, it downgrades to Guest with a 7 letter limit. What would happen?

I don't plan to use the account, just access old messages and get messages from all those sites I registered with my fastmail ID.

Having done this in the past, I can say that they don't seem to bother enforcing the 'username' limits (when you downgrade) though they could, so you should be prepared for it.

Same for aliases (must be same username before the domain)? Like you decide to downgrade to Ad Free and only have 2 email addresses on your account:

Example1@fastmail.fm (login address)
Example2@fastmail.net (the alias)
