Bug in HTML editor?

I've just noticed that I cannot switch off the underline and italics functions in the HTML editor in the new web interface. Can I be doing something wrong?? Actually, I can sometimes switch it off on one line and then it stops working. Just wonder if anyone else sees this.

Hi hankfoner,

Is it a constant thing? It happens to me on occasions (very rarely), and I think i have discovered the issue...

When i do some heavy formatting and changing, i notice that some formats sort of get "stuck". By looking at the raw HTML, i discovered HTML tags sometimes get messed up and/or nested. Check the raw HTML to see if it is this and delete the "extra" tags.

Thanks for the reply, Faubus.

1. It always sticks.

2. I looked at the raw HTML. Everything looks OK to me (but that doesn't mean much!). What I did find out was that if I deleted the line space characters in the raw HTML then I could undo the underlining etc. This seems weird and not a system for everyday use!

Any more ideas? Maybe I should write to Support.

Hmmm, I'm out of suggestions. Maybe someone else here can help you. However, what system (browser/version/add-ons) are you using?

Today, I have found (using Chrome Dev., Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox 3.5 both normal and Beta servers) that HTML editor toolbar does not appear (buttons images are not found) and menus list are not formatted.

Any idea about this problem or bug?

UPDATE: The problem seems has dissapeared. Actually the editor works as expected.
