Subscribed folders list corrupted...
Ever since the outage, my subscribed folders list has been corrupted.
Now, I am somehow subscribed to every single folder that has ever been on my account, many of whcih havn't existed for YEARS! I am manually now trying to find the offending folders, quite a bizarre occurrance, though! Derek |
Yes, most odd. I have the same.
|
Same here, Took quite some time to delete them all. (I am using Thunderbird BTW)
|
Can you give more detail? Subscribed via IMAP, or through the web interface?

Thanks! It appears that the issue with IMAP and Mailstore may also be related to the update... http://www.emaildiscussions.com/showthread.php?t=59978 |
I'm using IMAP with Thunderbird. The folders suddenly showed up greyed out in my folder tree.
When I open the Folder Subscription dialogue they also appear in grey but with no box beside them to change subscription status. I deleted them once but they came back next time I fired up. Edit for completion: When I look in my Fastmail webmail folder list they don't appear |
I am subscribed through IMAP as well.
|
Ok - I'll check that out with Thunderbird here... I know I tested this with Thunderbird originally!
|
Yep, same thing here, using several different clients, including Outlook and Thunderbird. So far, at least, deleting the grayed out folders appears to have fixed it. They did not reappear on restart.
The funny thing is, I had a brief occurrence of this a few days ago, only that time only one old folder showed up instead of 10 or 12 of them. I deleted it and it didn't reappear until this morning, when suddenly all the old folders were there. |
Ok - so the difference is - once upon a time records in the $user.sub file were just skipped if they didn't exist. Now they're displayed with NoSelect. How odd.
It's annoying that they're still in the .sub file at all! |
ahh, dammit. This is from Ken's 2.4 code. I haven't even _looked_ at it. I guess I'd better debug it now!
|
Ok - debugged. Fix rolling out now. Wow, that code was odd. I'll talk to Ken about it when he wakes up, still 6am in New York
|
don't know if this is related.
I had a few drafts saved, ready for sending. When I opened them this morning in the web intf, the body part was empty Fortunately, I solved just reloading each page, and then sending the message. I didn't bother to contact support |
Possibly... I'm really not sure! We did have one user who had 3 Draft messages with corrupted .cache records, and we noticed and fixed it almost straight away. Could have been you!
|
my drafts were many more.
After initial panic, I noticed that I could simply reload the page (I also tried to clean local cache, switch browser to "friendlier" Opera :D) I was reviewing 30 drafts or so, after the first 12 it was ok again. A |
