Any Mailstore users out there?

I am having troubles getting mailstore to work I keep getting the following error:

MailStore was unable to read the folder structure.
Reason: The IMAP server has returned an error. Unrecognized command (BAD).

Anyone else having success?

Thanks

/cl

Yes - I too have received the same error message on a script which has been running perfectly for some months.

Presumably the error is at the FM end?

Will you report it?

Was talking to mailstore thinking it was a mailstore problem... I cannot specify the port number, so I wasn't sure. Glad to hear others are having problems too. (kind of, actually, not glad to hear anyone is having problems, but misery loves company!!!)

Bron has been alerted of it, so I will wait to see if he responds before bombarding them with messages.

Do you have a full traffic dump? If not, PM me your username(s) and I'll enable telemetry logging at our end so I can see exactly what's happening.

By the way - this is a known issue. We don't have XLIST support yet, I need to port it forwards. I will do this today.

So this worked before, but the current situation is a known issue?

Thanks

Yes - and the current situation is now fixed!

You may need to disconnect and reconnect - and if you're really unlucky you'll get an old imapd still and have to do it again, but soon it will be updated I figure it's not such a giant change to justify disconnecting everyone for a full restart.

The problem was - the XLIST command wasn't enabled any more due to some changes in the way that cyrus does mailbox listing internally (same thing that messed the LSUB responses!)

Annoyingly, XLIST wasn't in the supported CAPABILITIES after login - but I have a feeling we say it before login on the frontend proxies. I've made the backends work again, which is the best

I'll assume by the lack of complaints that it's working
