Oh yeah, she comes to NL in 2024.
BTW, who's that girl on the drums?

The girl drummer is Emily Dolan Davies from the UK.

Warpaint - Billie Holiday

Very dreaming and relaxing... Both vocally and musically. Too bad the EP it's on is very hard to find ("The Fool - Deluxe", and the EP "Exquisite Corpse")

Part of the lyrics are taken from a song "My guy" from the early sixties. The link with Billie Holiday isn't totally clear, however this is the type of song where it doesn't matter, you listen to this for its calming, dreamy, soothing effect.

Shane MacGowan will be terribly missed "A rainy night in Soho" is a masterpiece. He wrote numerous timeless songs. RIP.

Junk by Paul McCartney

Actually it's the opening tune of a radio program that I listen to every Friday. He always starts with a Beatles song right after the opening tune and today it A Day in a Life (playing right now as I finish this post).

"Uptown Top Ranking" - Althea and Donna

Some good reggae although if it wasn't for John Peel accidently playing it on the radio, it may have never been a hit in Europe.
