Disappearing SPAM

Yep - this is a problem!

I've used a GMail account for a couple of years and it works entirely as expected. I have just registered two new GoogleMail accounts and they both appear to be buggy.

First mail in the SPAM folder disappears - not to be found anywhere else. This occurs betwen 6 and 12 hours after receipt. They are all there. Next day only a few remain. I've only got upto 3 days so the 30 day cut is not relevant.

Also the filter system is not catching all matches. Some get through. Put them back into the inbox and re-apply the filter and they get filtered. Very weird!

Could it be that my two new accounts are on a different buggy server - if so anyway of working out which?

Sorry to be of no help, but I have just noticed that I have the same 'problem'. Checked my account and spam from Nov 1 to Nov 6 is gone. It is not a new account btw, but a probably 2 years old one.
