changes in Gmail

Seems they're continuing to shift things around and adding improvements.

I just got the google ads to show below the message window instead of the usual right-side.

And someone reported that there's now notification beside the spam folder on how many spam emails (if there are any) there are.

could it ahve to do with browser?

I logged in using my new FireFox and no ads at all in Gmail.

No spam either but that could be due to me not having it exposed all over the web.

Changes don't happen to all accounts at the same time as observed by gmail users. Someone suggested that it might be because they have multiple servers handling accounts so it could be one server has a certain change implemented ahead of another one.

The ads I'm talking about is the one on the right-side? It picks out words from your email and matches the ads. If you open a certain email conversation you'll see it.

As to spam, I don't get any too. The ones I find there are legit emails.

Are they doing this alphabetically by username?

I don't see any changes.

Who knows what order they are doing it in, but I am still getting all of my spam in my inbox, never in the spam folder!! This is really annoying...

Susan.
