Are challenge-response email services still available?
I used bluebottle.com as a complementary service to my main Fastmail account for many years, but they shut down earlier this year. Is there another service which I could use as a challenge-response gate? I don't need an actual inbox, I just want to be able to post my address on the web (like I did with prognathous@bluebottle.com) and have emails reach my Fastmail mailbox (either forwarded or pulled via a pop link). I'm willing to pay up to $10 per year for such a service, which is what I paid for bluebottle.com.
Please don't turn this into a discussion about why challenge-response email is the source of all evil. I just need a simple solution for posting my email address publicly on the web without risk of it being harvested or misunderstood by intended senders. Thanks for any suggestions! |

This service might work for you. I have used Baremetal for many years, though not their challenge response.
