Lots of little fixes

text/enriched messages now displayed
enriched only and html only messages now displayed in preview mode (with formatting stripped out)
Clicking 'stop' on a connection will only update completely uploaded rows of data rather than 'blanking' out data
If any rows have an error, other correct rows are still updated rather than 'forgotten'.
Pop retrieve messages improved a bit. If an existing retrieve is still in progress it'll tell you when it was started
Clicking 'Remove' on the compose screen with no attachments selected doesn't result in an error anymore
Laid out the attachment part on the compose screen a bit better
Folders can now have - & ( ) characters in their names
Redirected or bounced messages are moved to Trash and correctly deselected
There's now some limits on how many items you can create for various lists.
PopLinks - 10 Signatures - 10 Addresses - 500 (for the moment, to be decided properly soon)
Fixed 'ghost' messages appearing after deleting/moving/etc a message from the mailbox screen
Fixed retrieved messages not appearing after a manual POP retrieve claimed it had retrieved them
Rob Last edited by robmueller : 5th December 2001 at 02:51 PM. |

Busy boy!
2. What are you using to strip out formatting? Just removing anything in <...>? Or some funky html2text converter? 11. I have a feeling I've got >500 addresses. How about upping it to 1,000? |

2. Naive strip all <...> items. Haven't even fixed entities for the moment
11. Actually I just realsed it's a data table property, so that the 'Auto add' screen and 'Upload' screen will let you go over the limit. Rob |

Actually, it turns out I'm not >500. But two people are--someone has 1900 addresses!. I'd increase the limit to 1,000, and email the person over 1,000 and try and work something out with them (it will be annoying next time they try to use the Address Book...).

Hey Rob, what are you going to do now that fastmail.fm is the best email in this planet? Continue at it and make the best in the Universe?
I have relatives in other planets I could chat with and tell them to use fastmail. ![]() Great work!!! ikxu |

We still have so much to do! Remember to look at our 'coming enhancements' screen to get an idea of what we've got in mind. It's not empty yet
