Well, Dave P from St Louis has done an amazing job of responding to my icon challenge. Without futher ado, here's the choice of icons he's created for our enjoyment. Thoughts?

i like the big, wide vertical lightning bolt, because it also looks like a tornado... =)

incidentally, the link to these from the fastmail interface 'news' update may be broken... it timed out for me.

sorry... my instincts tend to favor descriptive terms, and forget all about serial numbers =)

i meant fm13.gif , similar to fm5.gif , but more robust. they're all nice, though... it's hard to sum something up in 256 pixels or less.

yeah, the link works fine now... just a connection problem, i guess... shoulda known. sorry for the false alarm.

Of the icons I *didn't* submit, I like fm2.gif (Timpi's) and fm9.gif (Steve's). Of course, they're all nice.

I vote fm1 first, fm2 second. I've uploaded fm1 for testing. If you refresh your favorites you should see it; let me know if anyone finds it doesn't look right on their system.
