Adressbook import

Hi,

Has anyone ever used the "csv import function" to the address book?

I've tried different files, but each time get a error "Error: The CSV file could be read not"

Any hints?

Quincy

Hi Quincy,

I have just tried the CSV import function and it seemed to work fine.

How did you create the CSV file?

Best wishes,
Dave

I try two csv-files from my google account. One created as "Outlook-Export", the other as "gmail-export". And a third file as an csv-export from a group-office-account at polarismail.com. The same error at all these files. Is there a special requirement?

I have just exported a handful of contacts from a Google mail account as Outlook CSV and it seemed to work fine. There is no special requirement other than those stated in the Import function in the Runbox web interface.

If you still can't get this to work for you, can I suggest you open a support ticket for that too as we might need to deal with this more privately by looking at the contents of your CSV file?

Sorry about the problems you are having with this new account. We will try to resolve them as soon as possible.

Best wishes,
Dave

Thanks, Dave. I open a support ticket.

This are not really problems. So I have the chance to test the support at runbox.com before i close my fastmail account :-)

Now my adresbook is complete. I don't know what was wrong, but the people behind runbox seems to be very fast. Although I had set my tickets with low priority, after two hours already solved all.

Thanks and a good night from Germany
