Folder purge

On my trash and spam folders, there's a "Empty folder permanently" button. Would it be possible to configurably add these buttons to other folders (perhaps a checkbox in the folder-preferences)?

I've got different folders for different grades of spam, and wouldn't mind periodically purging each of them.

Hi tomhab,

If you look in Options/Folders you should see an Edit link to the right of each folder name. If you click on that you should see a drop-down for "Empty link" and choose how you want it to work for you. Hopefully that's what you're looking for.

OH my gosh!!! I'm so sorry. I didn't realize I was in the Runbox forum. I think I made that mistake one other time about 5 or 6 years ago so it's not something I generally do. When I saw your post I was about to ask if you didn't see the settings because you may be in the old UI then something made me scroll up and see Runbox at the top.

Runbox, I have always read your forums for many years (even before I was a mod) and have kept up with it as a choice if I ever needed to change services. It is so similar to the one I'm using I felt I could be very happy with Runbox.

I'm sorry for jumping in here and disrupting your forum and users.

No problem, Sherry!

Thanks for keeping up with us and for everything you do here in the forums -- we hope to get you on board as we enhance our services further, then.

So... it's going on the wishlist? Or should I contact support each time?

I do like FM's "purge anything older than 2 weeks" option (as long as it's on a per-folder basis!)

Its gotten much further than the wishlist. We have discussed this a lot lately and something might happen this summer.

The main point we have been talking about is a dedicated or configurable folder for DSPAM/Spam Maybe.
