BILL attended a Superbowl party which needed much action by my liver enzymes, due to beer, potato and corn chips, pork ribs, cheese, popcorn, and to top it off red grapes and blueberries.

This kind of wild parties is totally alien to the population of BIEL-Bienne.

Definitely not! This kind of things may happen in BIOL, but not in Biel.

My guess is that they might be tempted to party by playing a VIOL in that locale. Other instruments would be too shockingly modern.

This is a VILE thing to say about the inhabitants of that locale!
BTW, I'm not sure whether you meant Biel or Biol, but with my politically correct hat on, I'm rushing to the defence of whatever place is in distress

Well, I think that the Viola da gamba is a perfectly respectable musical instrument suitable for performance in either town with no trace of VICE.

Another place where this perfectly respectable instrument may be played is NIEL.

Just so nail doesn't FAIL the sentence test I'd say the two posts saying it's a "perfectly respectable instrument" hits the NAIL on the head. (an old US saying)

I think it's FAIR to say that some haven't participated continuously in this thread, so don't realize that we have evolved to sentence mode.

Come on, n5bb, keep your HAIR on One word postings are well within the rules, though they have become much less common (an endangered species??).

My hair isn't removable, but there sure is a lot less of it than when I was 20 years old! Do you think I can use the excuse that a fierce animal jumped out of their LAIR and took off with what used to densely and darkly cover my scalp?
