While we're at it, where do POP-links fit in? Are they tied to the IMAP server, or are they done independently and delivered internally to the username? (and then perhaps a pop-link might have a target like an alias so it is replicated elsewhere. E.g., I POP my wife's email from Hotmail and forward it to her gmail account using Sieve. It would be more reliable to do it without Sieve)
