Angry Locked out -- why?

I tried to log in as ROBERT.BAK (my original account I used for some years), only to find that what I was sure was the correct password, no longer worked. So I went through the "password reset" process, in the process also changing my email address because the old one was of my Fastmail Guest account which is being terminated soon, but although I could log back in, I found that all my other privileges (posting, PMs) have been revoked. I hope that this is a glitch, and that Edwin can fix it...

I also tried to log in under my robert@fm account which I have stopped using (I have the password for that one, but not the email address, so I can't request a new password), and couldn't get in there either. I doubt that this is anything I've done, as I haven't posted recently, nor have I got any notifications...

So I've registered this new account, as I have an urgent post to make in the Fastmail forum.

I have now received an email requesting me to confirm my change of email address for the ROBERT.BAK account, and have clicked on the link, supposedly activating the change; but now my reset password no longer works!

I suppose I'll just have to keep using this account, for a while anyway...

Hi Robert. I tried to investigate why this is happening to you but haven't found anything. I'll keep trying.
