Confusing File Storage Target field

During the creation of a web page of photos to be hosted by FM,
there is a drop-down list to define where the target of the URL will be
(i.e. where the photos are stored in my Files directory).

But this drop-down list of the file directory contains the names of EVERY
folder and sub-folder I have ever created to store non pics such as PDFs,
spreadsheets, documents etc.

Worse, is displays an exploded view of all the folders opened up to display
the contents of sub-folders, making it difficult to easily navigate.

It would be really useful to be able to display the folders and not show
sub-directories unless selected, i.e. browse top-level folder, then sub-folders
in the same way as browsing a hard disc using Windows Explorer.

FM's file storage feature is terrific, but this particular drop-down is cumbersome.

.

I think you must mean the File Storage Target picker on the File Storage Websites screen, and I agree that it's hard to use if you have subfolders with the same name (or subfolders with the same name as a parent folder). Fastmail completely remodeled the Files screen recently, but they have not gotten around to updating the Websites screen (which is left over from the classic system).
