Microsoft ditches Windows Live Messenger

... and intends to replace it with Skype's messaging tool.

I used to have MSN but after the latest version of it, I had uninstalled it, as it was making my computer lag terribly. At that time I also *googled* to see if others were having the same problems with it, and many people were. I use skype and AIM now personally.

Question wut?

This may seem stupid and obvious, but what if you don't have a webcam? (like myself)

Edit: When I signed onto Live Messenger I got this message to switch to Skype.
