Also as far as Virgin are concerned, I reported this problem to their level two technical support staff (after great difficulty getting the 'you need to reboot your superhub' people to understand that that wasn't the problem) at about 9pm UK time on Saturday night.
Even then, they said they thought they'd already had it reported. |

FWIW Virgin Media are now reporting this problem as resolved. A couple of quick pings suggest they have indeed fixed it.

Virgin Media's network team got in touch and let me know that they'd fixed it, so I've removed the workaround.
