How to blacklist senders?
Is there a way to block specific "from" addresses, or to automatically redirect all emails from those addresses to a junk folder?
I am routinely receiving emails from certain senders that I do not want to receive emails from. I have flagged individual emails as spam, but I keep getting more from these senders. |

Thanks for the tip!
Is it possible to do this without actually opening the email message--that is, to do it with only the message title and sender's name displayed? For security reasons, I often don't want to open emails at all from senders I do not know. |

Yes, you must open the message to allow creation of rules related to it's content. But as you will see this can be safe.
Fastmail goes through a lot of effort to open HTML messages safely. See this blog entry for the technical details: Sanitising HTML If you are worried about loading remote images from unknown senders (which you should be), go to Settings>Mail>Preferences>Load remote images and select either the 2nd or 3rd choice. As long as you use that feature to not automatically load remote images, the message will be displayed securely (not allowing dangerous scripts to execute) and the sender won't know if you read their message (since you are not downloading any web beacons/bugs).
