Those are the very reasons why we still 98 and why we are slowly switching to Linux. Suzy |

Are they used with the old email set up too? the ads are kind of annoying with the new yahoo layout. I seems to have managed to get a fancy dot name though. joe.schmoe at yahoo.com which is new I guess. only _ underscore and hyphen - allowed some time ago. How can they promise this? Quote:
To get the mail beta on com I first changed to uk english and to get pop3 I am trying out English Australia in the account info. Maybe works, not sure. Canada and United _Kingdom didn't seem to allow it. well AddressGuardTM was allowed from Australia but not pop3. as far as I know. Last edited by drew : 10 Jun 2006 at 07:52 PM. |

I'm still waiting for the Yahoo Mail beta to be rolled out for:
1) Yahoo Business Email accounts 2) Co-branded Yahoo DSL mail accounts Now when logging into a Yahoo mail account tied to a Business Email account, Yahoo throws up a message saying the beta for business email is being worked on, but it still won't be accessible from the beta for now. I hope this comes about soon... |

Would they get very mad at yuou if you tried the trick the google blog taught us about? To temporalily pretend you live in England and when you got invation to Beta live and got it working you switch back to where you actually live.
I give wrong explanation. you only change what kind of english you prefer and they base the ads on that. I had it set to australia later to get the Guardian activated. To get almost unlimeted aliases on yahoo. So I din't have to change adress on where I live only what kind of english I prefer. One does it in My account. Edit. (second from top if I remember. |
