I am yet unable to access pubbox.net over the web. Though a ping response comes back fine. Can anyone update me about what's happening there? Thanks!

It's more or less been steady state since this thread started. IMAP works fine. FTP to file storage works fine. Website including webmail - zilch. I've been waiting nearly a week now for a response from Support. Some have been waiting longer. Otherwise welcome to the speculation like the rest of us. |

It is very tempting to speculate.
He is on travel and will put it up when back. He was very active here almost daily and then nil. So he is on vacation maybe in a sunny climate. But it surprises me he hasn't logged in at an internet cafe and told us when he expects to set it up again. That would have been polite so maybe he is not able to get to internet being too remote place? |

ok, being the optimist and idealist, i like drew's theory.
so if we run with drew's theory, we might imagine that just before the website crash, Armin thought everything looked ok and then took off to some remote corner of the globe for a 3-week vacation. Armin's significant other was tired of him spending so much time on the computer, and strongly suggested the two of them take a vacation together, away from computers, in a remote exotic jungle or safari where they could reignite their passion. Armin agreed, thinking the jungle might be exactly what he needed. but wow, they sure are remote! not only are there no internet cafes or connections, but Armin can't even use his mobile phone or check voicemail. oh well, at least he's got his sweetie and the jungle animals to keep him company... meanwhile, all of us are left here speculating on why Armin hasn't fixed the website or responded to support emails. |

To tell you the truth, I am getting a little worried (about Armin) - and about Pubbox myself... |
