Hmmm. A marketing gimmick to get people to try out a new email product of some sort? A letter stamp here in the USA is $0.58, and let's say you can purchase a piece of paper and an envelope for maybe another $.05. If they get 1,000 signups it will cost them $630 to send a letter to those folks. I suppose that might be cheaper than some other advertising/marketing schemes. Personally, I think marketing campaigns should be much, much more explicit about what they are all about. I never, I repeat never, will sign up for anything that isn't upfront about what they are about, how much they cost, what the features are, etc. These gimmicky campaigns must work on some people, but not me. I will not touch with a ten-foot pole!

I was thinking the same. Give them my email... nope. I can do what they do even better. A hand written personal letter in cursive with a fountain pen. LOL

I think your suspicions are well founded, didn't get a verification from them but did get a few marriage proposals! Oh well that's what Mailinator is for, right?

Without knowing your personal circumstances it's impossible to tell which of the two is more useful
