Another IMAP client to consider.
I just noticed that Pegasus Mail has IMAP support. I just installed it and it appears to pull in all of the folders properly. Seems to be pretty full featured and has one other major benefit - it's free!
It includes a spell checker, HTML mail, and many other nice features. Granted, I just started testing it, but it appears to be pretty solid at this point. The primary website is here: http://www.pmail.com Info on the newest Windows version is here: http://www.pmail.com/v4_release.htm And, finally, you can download it here: http://www.pmail.com/downloads.htm Jeff |

I've been using Pegasus Mail for over five years now (since version 2·4 IIRC), and I love it!
One of the best features is that its built-in HTML renderer deliberately doesn't run Java, so it's immune to tracker bugs and similar nasty exploits... |

I have tried Pegasus a couple of times but I am not comfortable with with it.
I like the simplicity of outlook express. |

Speaking of HTML and Pegasus, has anyone had a problem with Pegasus not displaying HTML messages properly? I installed it and got the connection configured, but my HTML mail (in the preview pane or if opened) just shows blocks of background color and not what should be there. Seems odd.
Thanks in advance. |

I love Becky too, but it's not free, and the most recent version lately crashes on me while using IMAP accounts.

Edit: If not, you can change their security setting, or install a Microsoft security patch. Last edited by pintsighs : 13 Jul 2002 at 08:12 PM. |
