Hi,

is there no way to upload contact photos?

Neither in FastMail. Only via an external (carddav) addresbook.

If I remember correctly, you can also use a vCard with a photo, and upload it. There is no other way currently through the FastMail web interface.

If the sender of an e-mail to your FastMail account is in your address book and has a Gravatar associated with their e-mail address, this image will appear in your address book.

You can use any vcard app (like contact in mac os x for example) sync with Fastmail contact and upload photo.
You can import vcard contact files (with photo inside) directly in fastmail webmail (import).

But you can't upload photo directly in contact in the web interface.
