PanelMeasurement Branded Surveys Panel Community Surveys If you install any of these extensions in your browser, they could collect information on you such as: Usernames Passwords Credit card information Gender Personal interests GPS location Tax returns Travel itineraries Genealogy Genetic profiles If you install the extensions on a computer at your workplace, they could also collect information about your company, including company memos, firewall access codes, API keys, and more. |

Yea makes it seem like not a good idea having any extentions doesnt it??? (Ya cant trust them now)
They just bog stuff down really the more you have............ |

I have uninstalled many extensions from FF because of the security risk and the slowdowns.
It's not only browser extensions that spy but devices like Echo and Alexa have been caught sending info to the main company. Your personal info is more valuable than gold to the data companies. Last edited by Gsptlsnz : 1 Sep 2019 at 02:07 AM. |

The only firefox extension from that list is "SaveFrom.net Helper". That's because those articles are old and Mozilla removed the other two!
When you install SaveFrom, firefox say it requires four permissions that clearly can access your data. Buyer beware! So extensions are just like Android and iOS apps, the permissions are clearly stated. Windows apps have no such guarantees, your only protection is anti-virus. |
