New Search function in Runbox 6

From Runbox blog

We have now replaced the search function in Runbox 6 with an improved version that is based on the groundbreaking search feature we have developed for Runbox 7
A welcome step forward, IMHO.

So is there a way to move it or get rid of it? It's just in my way and way too big.

Sort results don't seem to be listed in a sensible way (e.g. chronological)

Now the new search box has disappeared and the old search function has not returned to the bottom of the screen. So there is NO search function now.

Runbox, what are you up to???

That's a strange one!

If you click on the Search Messages link at the bottom of the screen, the search box appears at the top.

If you click on the same link again it disappears!

As seen on Chrome 71.0.3578.80

Just noticed "Search" on the top pale blue bar, next to Report spam.

Works in the same way.

Perhaps if they bolded "Search" with something like a magnifying glass icon adjacent it would be more noticeable.

We are fixing that. It is alphabetical now, so not sensible

Yes, we got lots of users contacting us that did not think search was very important and wanted that screen real estate only for listing emails.

There is now a "Search" menu item that will toggle the search to be visible.
