when will Runbox bring out the new webmail?

the current one is hard to use, not that up to date.
I expect the new one changes much.

You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win.

You send the email, you receive the email. Always you win.

The basics of email are what is important. Runbox is especially good at providing these, imho.

If so no email are needed. just using postal service.

Although I use snail mail myself (very often) there are a number of reasons that this approach will not work, for email, jeffpan, if you think about it.... especially if you wish to send out a lot of it...

Sorry but I dont agree!

I have to use webmail 90% of the time as I cant install an email client for my personal email at work.

Formating is atroucious
Attaching stuff is painful to say the least
Dragging messages into folders via the subject only is ridiculous

Click on "compose" message at try sending a professional looking email with that.. Its challenging to say the least.

Every time I log in or need to reply to email I feel Im back to the 90's...

Switch to Runbox Basic (bottom left corner) and you'll have another way of moving messages between folders.

Thanks! I does improve things a bit. However, IMHO there is still a lot of room for improvement here.

Have you tried the Roundcube interface?
It's at: https://runbox.com/roundcube/

I have grumbled about the Runbox web-mail interface in the past - there's a long thread here:
http://www.emaildiscussions.com/showthread.php?t=67376

But this was started before the current version was installed and before Roundcube was made available. I still like Roundcube but I am now in a position where I can use an IMAP client on my own laptop most of the time, so I don't use it very often. If you haven't tried it, it's worth looking at.

From the Runbox help page:
Quote:
Roundcube is provided “as is” with limited support and the following sections of this page are only notes and not a “user guide”. Runbox has not made any commitment to keep Roundcube as an additional webmail interface, or develop Roundcube further.

It's odd that Runbox don't make it more obvious that it's available.

Would also be good if someone from Runbox would comment on whether they are going to keep it

We have no plans to remove it, but we also dont say we will keep it forever.

I dont think we will remove it before we have something significant and new in terms of Webmail.
