Here's a privacy feature you can set up with ProtonMail and iOS 13:

1. Tap Shortcuts > Automation > Create Personal Automation
2. Select Arrive > Choose "USA" for Location
3. Tap Add Action > Select the ProtonMail app > Tap Wipe Local Data

Once that's done, email encryption can be automatic between the two of you with only the one party using ProtonMail.

They have a public key server, so an external user's client can automatically look up the key of any ProtonMail address.

Proton Mail

Have been using Proton Mail for a couple of months now for my private email. So far I am very impressed with the speed and efficiency of this secure email.
I use Gmail for my non confidential stuff which s most of my traffic but If I want real privacy then Proton Mail is the way to go. I will be continuing to test Proton Mail for free for the next couple of months to try and shake lose ay bugs but if all goes well I will be upgrading to the paid service, as will all my family and friends so we can chat in private again.
