Hello from the UK

Glad to have had my registration accepted, as it took several attempts before I could convince the system that I wasn't a criminal of some sort. Don't know what was wrong, but I tried registering under several different user names, each time being rejected as persona non grata . One thing that puzzled me was that if I was not happy with being rejected, I could use the link on the contact page to offer an explanation, but this link does not appear to exist. At least, I couldn't find it.
The reason that I joined the community, is that I have a problem with my current email provider, and I will post the details later (I'm tired, now) in the appropriate forum and, hopefully, someone will be able to advise me.
Cheers, Eric.

I'm pretty sure that the system does not say if a user name already exists, it just throws up the type of error that you reported.

And if your name is Eric, there are around 50+ user names already registered on the forum beginning with Eric!

Yup I think it does tell you if the name you picked is in use. (Either that or says its unavailable)

This is an English language forum dealing with global issues, not a local one. Nobody really cares where the server (or the site owner) is located. So "international poster" is a meaningless concept.
