Webhosting PHP question
With Runbox webhosting, is the PHP mail() function disabled?
I ask because it doesn't seem to give an error message when I use this function, but it does not seem to send anything either. |

Extra Info
In fact the PHP mail() function does do something ... any email sent using this function gets put in this directory on the Runbox webhosting server ...
/home/{user}/mail/new/ as a text file called something like xxx.xxx.bigdog.runbox.net,S=xxx. Any ideas how to actually make the mail() function REALLY send the email? |

Ticket raised
Ok I have raised a ticket.
I have this php script working with another site ... on a different hosting provider. It would be good if it worked here too. We shall see. |

I replied to your ticket. It looks like your account was set to always deliver email locally for the domain even if the MX record was for an external email server. I made some changes that should have corrected the delivery problem. Let us know if it didn't fix the problem.
