Folder stuck inside another folder

How to separate the "sub-folder?" It was an accident, and now I can't get it out of the main folder. The two have nothing to do with each other, so they need to be separate.

On the left side of the web interface, and under all your folders, is a link 'Create or edit folders'. Follow that link and then drag-n-drop the folder you want to move to where you want to move it to.

eta: You can also click on the 'edit' button for the folder and then change its parent folder name.

Or you can delete the folder and all its contents, or move the contents then delete the folder.

The thing is, I can't move it out from under the folder it's in. In other words, it is indented under my inbox, and I cannot "un"-indent it. I have tried to do that on the "create and edit folders" page, but it's not moving to the left permanently.

The folder has 38 items in it; I'm not sure how I can re-create it if I delete it. It's my commercial account folder.

I emptied the whole folder out and put the contents in another folder, but there is no place to delete the remaining, permanently-indented, empty folder. There is "delete" at the top of the FM page, but since the folder is empty, I am not allowed to delete using that method. And I can't delete it by left or right clicking on the sidebar menu. Went to this page, but there's no way to do it there, either:

To remove a folder, go to Settings>Folders, then select the folder and select the red Delete Folder button. You can delete folders which are empty or folders which contain messages.

But you can only delete folders which you created. You can not delete system folders (Inbox, Trash, Spam, etc.). System folders will not show a Delete Folder button in the Settings>Folders screen.
