Rule condition to identify email replies
Hi,
I'm sorting emails from agencies based on a contact group called "agencies". I only want the rule to trigger for new emails - not replies, even if included in the agencies group mentioned above. Any way of identify replies that does not involve using glob expressions based on subject line? (I get emails in multiple languages...) Thanks ! J |

I cannot see any totally reliable way of distinguishing an email as a reply. Even relying on the subject line might not work, as the subject line can be changed by the person replying. In effect, each reply is really a totally new message which we can usually see is a reply based on various visual cues. The best try I can think of is to use a slightly different Reply To address when sending to one of your agencies group contacts (something like myname+agencyreply@fastmail.com) and sort based on that.
