I have an IMAP account that I have set-up in OUtlook 2010. Emails are being received by me and receipients are receiving emails that I send. Copies of emails that I send are going to the sent foleder.
Each time I send an email I get the following pop-up screen in Outlook which says: "The IMAP server wants to alert yoou to the following: Cannot add message to non-existing folder. What is the message telling me and what do I need to resovlve the issue(s) causing the message to appear. Thanks, texascpa |

It sounds as though once Outlook has sent a message it is then trying to save it to a folder in your Runbox account that doesn't exist. This is how IMAP works. It first sends the message, and then puts a copy in whatever folder Outlook is set up to put that copy in.
Outlook (and other email clients) has the option to set the destination for Sent, Draft and Trash. It could be that it has assumed there is a folder called "Sent Items" or some similar name, when in fact in your Runbox account the Sent folder is just called "Sent". I don't use Outlook myself but I believe the settings can be found under "Accounts/More Settings". If this doesn't work, then there is obviously some other problem at play. Please let us know. Dave |
