I can't use New Darkmode

Hi,

It seems that "Darkmode" has changed recently.

I compose emails with a dark grey text colour which used to show as light grey when in dark mode. Now it stays the same dark grey and I cannot read my own text.

I want to keep the grey, so I can no longer use dark mode :-(

In what UI? (os, browser/app)?

By the way did you reply to my thread and then delete your reply?

I am on macOS 10.15 but it appears to be all browsers. I have raised a ticket and FM recognise the problem although I have not heard back since.

Yes, I did. I was trying to be helpful by bumping your post above all that spam. ...but then I decided that wasn't very helpful so I removed it (and reported the spam).

I'm sure you haven't tested "all browsers"! There are far too many.
I'm sure they'll address it in time. A screen shot would surely help too.

Lately, we have had an attack by a Chinese or similar Asian spammer in a very malicious way. They post up to 275 spam posts in various forums.
We are doing our best to catch it as soon as possible.
Please report all suspected spam.

Thank you.

True, I tried several browsers and should have used the word "multiple" instead. The point I was trying to make (badly) was that it wasn't a single browser issue.

I haven't heard back from Fastmail since they acknowledged the problem is real.

Basically, I use a dark-grey colour for my text. When composing in dark mode that colour doesn't change (like "white" does) so dark-grey on very-dark-grey is hard to see.

It's OK when reading an email written in dark-grey though.

I'll pop a screenshot of it up later.
