Font size issues in fastmail compose screen
For the last year or so, I have some issues with font sizes when I compose/reply message in the Fastmail interface.
In 99% I don't set any specific font size. However, I might be replying to an email; the font looks fine (say, some medium font size), but then, when I press enter to have a new line, the font size suddenly becomes smaller. (I received some feedback lately that people sometimes get emails from me with unreadably small text). Then i have to specifically select all my text and choose a font size to have them all consistent. Anybody any clue what is behind this? |

Are you by any chance using Google Chrome? I have sometimes seen this behavior, and not only with Fastmail. I suspect there is a weird browser bug that sometimes injects unwanted CSS into the compose window. I have not had time to try to nail it down, but it seems to occur at the bottom of the compose window.

Ah, under Mail Preferences > Writing I just discovered you can set the default font, color, size...
I must have overlooked this, because I had previously searched for something like this. I've reset all this, hopefully things will now be fine. |
