Lightbulb How to send a mail to multiple receivers going unnoticed..

Hello everyone.

I'm a mechatronics technician working at home.
I'm repairing some electronic stuff and from time to time i have to ask some small shops in my city if they do have the part list i need for prosecuting each job.

My problem is: is there any manner of writing the list once and then get an app like Thunderbird or someone else i can install in my gnu/linux pc so i can send that message to all the shops i know without learning each one i had sent the same thing to others?

You could create a contact named Parts List and add multiple emails to that one contact before adding said contact to the BCC field.

I think you should need to contact your email provider and he will help you with that.

Thank you

The Mail Merge add-on for Thunderbird at https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US...-merge/?src=ss creates individual copies of each message when sending to a mailing list. The advantage of using it is you don't have to trust a third party service to do that .

If you are not using version 68.* of Thunderbird look at the "version information" link at the bottom of the add-ons web page and click on complete version history for links to versions of that add-on that will work with version 60.* etc.

A weird logic: you trust your internet provider and email provider, but not another party putting strings in the right places in the messages.

I use BCC frequently and it works for me. I place one address in TO link and add half dozen or more in BCC far as i know those in BCC onl get the one with their name on it and see none of the other ones in the BCC
