I've noticed this, in the e-mails received in the Gmail account I set up for the forwarding.

Previously, with the domain registrar, Gmail reported:
mailed-by: theregistrar.com

With Cloudflare email routing, Gmail reported:
mailed-by: mydomain.tld

Interesting?

When you open the forwarded email in Gmail using Cloudflare forwarding do you see "via Cloudflare" after the name or address of the original sender? Using the registrar Porkbun forwarding I see "via Porkbun" up there. Not sure if one is better than the other.

Yes, it's same - registrar or Cloudflare:

Do you mean the 'via' bit in the e-mail address, or the 'mailed-by' differences?

I'll guess in either case, not really, just wanting to understand how things work.

Fair enough, I wondered if there is any practical implication. Anyway, 99.99% recipients will not either care or notice the difference (probably both)
