Got $5 to spare?
For this piddling sum of money you can get a fake girlfriend on Facebook .

It's on the internet, so it must be true

If this is true (if... it sounds a bit odd) this is the lowest FB has sunken so far. But just because of that, even for Facebook's standards, it sounds a bit odd to be true.
Anyways, IF true, why would you pay to get a "fake" girlfriend when this will only make really single girls believe you're not available anymore ? To get a date, social networks aren't the best bet. Pretending you're already taken is not going to help a lot neither... But then the story sounds a bit odd, not saying it's not true but it wouldn't surprise me this is a made-up story. |

Repeat after me: that site is not run by FB. No words longer than 4 letters, I tried to make it not too taxing. Last edited by janusz : 26 May 2012 at 04:31 AM. |

Yes but I did add that it sounded too unrealistic to be true. So I don't really believe it is true. It would make no sense anyway ; it'd be like joining a dating site with a note in your profile that you're already in a relationship ...

Probably. I read about another service years ago where you could get a fake girlfriend to write you e-mails about your "relationship" with her, she'd send you pics, etc. It was a bit disturbing to read.
Well, after doing a search just now on "fake girlfriend website", I found this. I don't know if that's the same one I heard about years ago or not, but there you go. |
