Names that Make a Word

I don't think this thread's ever been done before: Feel free to submit as many or as few as you wish per post. Names can be real, something you came up with, or that you got from some other source. One caveat: remember forum rules, no risque names.

Keesing's logic puzzles used to be full of such names. One puzzle I composed, about the Notting Hill Carnival (the mag folded before I could submit it), had four street traders called Haile(*) Ludicruss, Alan Drover, Annette Gain and Corinne Ithot.

(*) Pronounced "highly" in case you hadn't already worked that out for yourself.

I used to have a colleague called: Michael Hunt.

I wont spell out the implications of that, due to the rules of the forum, but anyone over 18 is invited to work it out for themselves.

Parents can be so thoughtless.

I worked for a company once where the receptionist was duped into putting out a tannoy for this person, not realising quite what she was saying!

I've heard that there are sadistic parents as well, who deliberately lumber poor innocent kids with such names!

That's like the Mr. and Mrs. Kerr who named their son Wayne.

(edit) For some horribly-contrived examples, see the Balls! thread.

I went to an electronics exhibition in Birmingham UK a few years ago and couldn't believe that there was a company named after Mr and Mrs Kerr's son ....LOOK
