Archive tools
On my Windows system I find the MailStore archive system invaluable. It's quick, searches content and headers and the presentation is good. Also it's free! When I switch to a Linux system there are the usual candidate clients but I can't find a decent archive application.
Anyone found such a beast? Recommendations? |

Yes, MailStore is great for archiving e-mails on Windows.
I haven't found anything comparable on Linux (I use Linux Mint), but have used Thunderbird in conjunction with the ImportExportTools NG extension. |

I've read here: https://notmuchmail.org/ about something that might be part of such a solution. |

Thanks for the links. 'notmuch' looks interesting but not much detail as to how to use with IMAP accounts. One follow-on link from that site is 'neomutt' - https://neomutt.org/guide/intro - which does give examples linking to IMAP. Some setup work involved here!
