Email mistakes I have regretted include impulsively signing up for a paid version of a service before giving it a long test run. I wish every service gave you a 30-day trial period for the paid version so you can see how well it works for you. Twice I tried G Suite, which is now Google Workspace, and the business controls and overall extra complication just weren't worth getting an upgrade to email at my own domain, plus you lose some of the benefits of free Gmail accounts like the ability to subscribe to Google 1 storage, family sharing, etc. Another email mistake I have made is to migrate all my old email to some new service only to find that the migration process was extremely awkward, slow, or actually didn't work properly resulting in a mess of mislabeled or misfiled emails, and even some lost emails. Another email mistake is to switch a bunch of important accounts to a new address only to have to do it again when I find that I don't like the new email service. Another mistake was when I signed up for a nice short .xyz domain name and found out my emails were blocked by many mainstream providers, resulting in me giving it up after several months of struggles. I could go on--I've made lots of email mistakes!

There was this movie about a guy that can go back in time, and he went back to correct some mistakes he thought he made in the past, and regretted it because it changed not just what he intended to change (like when he came back his daughter was gone and instead he had an annoying son. Then he want back and tried to undo what he changed). I don't remember the name of the film.

There are many bug and small things I would have done differently if I were in the same situation (and age) again.

One unimportant example: when we went whale watching in Iceland, and we encountered about 30 whales, I wasted my time filming it on video, instead of enjoying the scene (The guide said she had never seen so many whales in one place, and she goes whale watching very day: it's her job).

Than there was Tami that in 9th grade asked me about being a couple: I shouldn't have dismissed her back then...

Another thing I have regretted is fretting about regrets! Seriously, living in the past is not productive. Focus on today and the future and get going...
