I "highly" recommend NameSilo, which is the least-expensive domain registrar.

Transferring a domain is simple. The following link should answer your questions:

https://www.namesilo.com/Support/Dom...sked-Questions

If you continue to have questions, write to support at <support@namesilo.com>.

You won't regret moving your domain to NameSilo, and you'll save a few bucks when doing so.

Good luck!

Were you able to transfer your domain(s) to NameSilo? If not, what difficulty did you have?

If you did transfer the domain(s) to NameSilo, what are your impressions of the registrar? Do you have any complaints? Just curious.

I "really" like it, as I said, not only because it's inexpensive, but because its engineers have programmed the site well. In other words, it's easy to use.

Thanks chickadee for your response. I changed my mind and decided not to change my host. The reason is that my domain expires next year and I don't plan to renew it. I won't be using a domain then.

If your domain is memorable, perhaps you should keep it, even if you have no plans to use it. A .com domain is only $8.99 a year at NameSilo, and the transfer price is just $8.39. As you know, memorable domains with common extensions are hard to find.

An easy way to compare the prices of .com domains at well-known registrars is to examine the top chart on the following page, which gives pricing information for 18 registrars, including NameSilo:

https://www.namesilo.com/pricing.php

I hope the chart helps users of this forum who have domains and are thinking of transferring them.
