what is the custom windows display style for?
I find it funny to find a "custom windows: c:\custom.css" display style"
Is the just another style (which i doubt coz the name is so detailed) or can it be used by us to customise the look of our own account and if so how do i go about doing this. |

you create (or steal) a style sheet of your own, or modify one of the existing ones, and save it on your machine as "c:\custom.css"... then, if you have chosen this setting, your fastmail pages will look for that stylesheet. AFAIK it only works with IE, though.

this site is interesting:
http://css.nu/ all you really need, software-wise, is a text editor. you can download the 'professional blue' stylesheet to use as a template here: http://fastmail.fm/styles/professionalblue.css |

does this mean that i can only view my custom style on those computers with my custom.css in the c drive?
then if i go to my friends home and check my fastmail there, i'll see the default custom.css in fastmail right? |

Yup, that's right. Maybe eventually there'll be a way to store a custom stylesheet in our own space at Fastmail, and maybe in that case other browsers will recognize it. That'd really be nice. For now, though, it's got to be on your C drive and it's only for IE.
