Diigo - better than Spurl or Furl ?
Dabbing with this recent bookmarking service, www.diigo.com has been something of a really nice Christmas gift to me!
I've just figured out how to customize the extension for Firefox by customizing it into the top of the browser instead of having to open/close the toolbar (like the Google one others). So it's going to be (IMO) a pretty good challenge in 2006 to similar services like Spurl and Furl! |

Bplat,
It may be "by invitation only" but my request was accepted pretty quick. Think it was the same day. |

I've been waiting a few weeks myself for an invitation, though I'll probably try it but stick with furl (maybe) Today I was checking out http://www.ning.com take a look at my efforts http://thesearcher.ning.com

They must be just starting up. I didn't see a search feature in the demo. There are so many of these kinds of bookmarking services coming around these days, it's just unreal!! |

I'm kinda stuck with Furl now. I've been using it for so long. Plus I've found a lot of great great links from glebarr, since I subscribe to his bookmarks. That's really fun; I wish I was hooked into more of my friend's bookmarks. Del.icio.us is ok too but I went for Furl. I wish there was a tool so that I could bookmark to both at once without hassle. I don't use deli.cio.us or any others because it's just too much to have many separate services for me. There's just not enough time left in a day, let alone a week, to get complete enjoyment out of all my tools. So I pick one and stick. |

I agree with Gankaku- furl is the best, but a few years ago I had an account with hotlinks.com and that site went under and so did my hundreds of links, therefoe I sometimes add items to other sites usually del.icio.us.

Found this review today and Furl is looking good indeed!
http://www.irox.de/roxomatic/1050/so...iew-version-35 Diigo allows you to simultaneously send your bookmark to your del.icio.us account (Spurl does it too!). One feature i think Furl has (if my memory is still good!) is that it lets you know which bookmarks are still active (or valid). Last edited by dantheman : 17 Jan 2006 at 08:55 PM. |

http://www.startaid.com very nice and has some good personalizing features, but takes awhile to learn the navigation... |
