Filtering problem

I have a folder called 'sites' . Mail goes into it with the web client ,but not with thunderbird. When clicking on that folder with thunderbird I'm getting an error message saying that the mail server for my account says the mailbox doesn't exist !

Possibly the issue is that the folder is not a subscribed folder. It is a while since I have used Thunderbird. Try looking for the dialog that shows which folders are subscribed, and subscribe the folder in question if necessary.

If that fails,
* rename the problem folder using the web interface;
* create a new folder using Thunderbird with the original name; and
* using the web interface move the messages from the old to the new folder.
It is unlikely there will be a problem accessing a folder created from Thunderbird.
