Spam on the Rise?

Is anyone else experiencing more spam than usual lately? Particularly low scores?

FM folks -- Recently you had indicated that there was going to be a new version of the filter program coming soon. Have you received any updated info on when? Thanks!

I am. I'm seeing a few clearly *spammy* messages getting through. They're scoring between 1.6 and 2 - this has been happening for the past few days.

I am a new fastmail user, and despite using the "aggressive" spam blocking mode I'm getting at least 5-10 messages per day in my inbox. I'm a former mailblocks user, and I was spolied there. That system was spam proof! I cried when they announced they were shutting down.

I really don't want to write a custom sieve script, but may be forced to. What are my other options?
