Got it - all is well.

Thanks!

Just like to add, LOVING the smaller buttons.

IMHO, they look so much better. I always thought the old ones were so big, but didn't think to suggest shrinking them Great tweak!

They were never meant to be so big; I had just assumed that Firefox on Windows would render the buttons with the same padding as Firefox on Mac. Apparently not...

Does anybody know how (with a CSS tweak) to make the note text box in the Notepad page have a fixed height (like it was in the old interface)?

I have one very large note which I use often, and I somehow find it easier if the textbox fits on one page (with a scrollbar in the box, of course). This makes sure that there is always a save button on the screen.

Gotta love the way browsers render things differently. Even funnier that Firefox renders things different across OS

Anyway, love the smaller buttons.

If only we could make the top smaller;
  • Move the search bar below the folders
  • Somehow make the big white bar with the current folder smaller
  • Could the top menus not be on the same line as the 'Help', 'Logout' etc
Also when using the 'show more options' when viewing a message, can we have an 'or' between the 'Previous' and 'Next', as they're quite close together and will add a little bit of spacing.

Just my 2p, others may disagree.

Also, is this still a possibility for the new interface?

Those you'll have to create your own stylesheet for (the Search is staying where it is as well but I'm afraid there's no easy way to move this below the other sections in a stylesheet - you can always collapse the section by clicking the header though).

Regarding the auto-refresh; we've discussed it, it will hopefully happen at some point, but it's a fair bit of work and at the moment it's more important to remove the bugs from what we've got.

Neil.

No problem. I collapse the search section anyway. Just wish it would stay that way across sessions.

No problem, I understand that the priority is ironing out the bugs. Great that it's being discussed and something that'll happen.

Any idea how high up the list it is after bug fixing?

I would like to request this as well.

(oops - just saw that it is on the newinterfacebugswontfix wiki)

Odd. When I try to delete an email using the "Delete" button, I'm getting this error:
Can't use string ("1") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /home/mod_perl/hm/WebApp/Session.pm line 2724.

but when I use the advanced "Previous / Next" delete buttons it works fine. Don't know if this is a known bug or was just a hiccup? I tried to refresh a few times and log out/in and the error repeated itself each time for the past 10 minutes. :/

Anyone else seeing a weird problem where if you use the keyboard shortcuts for next and previous message are actually deleting the current message (i.e. moving it to trash) and then moving to the next message? I can't consistently reproduce it, so I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing it?
