How to set up BlackBerry Hub on Android with Fastmail
BlackBerry Hub Plus is a powerful way to organise your emails, messages under one app. It has been released for Android and includes other apps in the suite (Calendar/ Notes/ Contacts)
Here's a simple way to organise everything with Fastmail. 1) Open your Fastmail account. 2) Under settings> password/security generate app specific passwords. 3) Open up BlackBerry Hub plus (after you install it from Play Store). 4) Add account (IMAP) with your Fastmail credentials. The detailed follow up is exactly as here: https://www.fastmail.com/help/clients/blackberry.html For Calendar: Please enter this server address: caldav.fastmail.com/dav/principals/user/<username@domain.tld>, but replace <username@domain.tld> with your own FastMail email address. For Contacts: carddav.fastmail.com/dav/addressbooks/user/<username@domain.tld>, but replace <username@domain.tld> with your own FastMail email address. This is about it. No need for any other application on Android. See this in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sny8cjocih0 The best part is that all your communication is under one app. Your WhatsApp/ BBM/ Viber/ Slack/ FaceBook/ Twitter etc. through one app. For me, the sync works perfectly on Passport and Priv. |

It didn't before because autodiscovery doesn't work and the geniuses at Blackberry decided to restrict the input in the server address field so you couldn't type an @ symbol. I wonder which update fixed this. |
