Wanted: power folder notifications on Android

Would love to have notifications set per folder on Android, so that sub folders notify me of new messages...

As far as I know, notifications for folders other than the Inbox have been on the FastMail to-do list since the Android and IOS apps were first released. In other words, we've been waiting about a year and a half already. I really hope we'll see this much-needed feature soon.

Yes, that's great. FastMail activated Push last July for the IOS mail client (https://blog.fastmail.com/2015/07/17...e-in-ios-mail/), and it works very well. But we're not talking about built-in mail clients. We're talking about the dedicated FastMail apps for Android and IOS, which still only provide notifications for the Inbox. For a number of reasons, I prefer to use the FM app and not the default client. However, I really need those additional notifications. I suspect others feel the same.

I'm not sure why it's taking so long to implement this feature. We haven't heard any official word about it in a long, long time. I only hope it's still on the roadmap and will arrive soon.
